Windows left to its own devices, only sets up a right handed mouse Elvis. Its probably that Linux that you insist on putting on the same hard drive as the proper OS, thats buggered it up. I once had some bother, when I installed software for a 9 button mouse. It never changed hands though and I've never known it to happen with any version of Windows. There again I dont dual boot with foreign bodies.

Funny innit? I don't dual boot anything, and I never seem to have the dramas that Elvis has. I have to admit, i'm a W7 Ultimate tart!

Come on Ken, you're joking surely How can another OS that Windows doesn't even acknowledge effect the mouse or any other hardware? You might as well believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden The fault is entirely a Windows one and would still happen if Windows 7 was the only OS installed A quick Google reveals lots of similar problems (from people with just Windows 7 installed) The cure may be here (updated drivers for Windows 7) blog.logitech.com/2009/05/29/update-on-logitechs-mouse-and-keyboard-drivers-for-windows-7/

I agree Mikk, Linux shouldn't interfer with Windows. Elvis does get a lot of drama in his life though.
Its not a Windows fault either, its Logitechs bloody BETA drivers. Even that blog says to let Windows install the drivers, just as I said. I've never known Windows reverse a mouse, only Logitech manages to do that.

It's funny I don't get this kind of problems with a real OS like Linux Mint 9 64bit but i get a lot with W7. ;D
With Linux Mint 9 64bit i don't get problems with software or drivers it just works
