H! Mikkh,
How do i resize a photo to 800x600 in Gimp or Picasa i cannot seem to find out how?

You can do it easily in IrfanView.In Linux

Yes buzzy you side before to use IrfanView and i do but i am not in W7 i am in Linux Mint and i do not think IrfanView will work in Linux Mint? and i need to be able to use it in Linux Mint as i do not use W7 if i can help it.

In Gimp go to the 'Image' menu then choose 'Scale Image' - after you've loaded the photo of course Then just save it as the new size once you've adjusted it
