I like the way most of you have dealt with the problem of the date in the corner.

That's a nice image Pete, sort of "before and after". I like it. That's a kinda strange one Elvis, "what does it all mean?", I ask myself. ....

They just draw peoples attention to quite ordinary words that would otherwise have no "naughty" connotations whatsoever.

Now that you mention it KC, it does kinda look like a rose. Filters are magic.

I'll leave the filters to you experts and stick to my layer and clone method Nocky.

Another little bit I borrowed from a dead decorator, who specialised in ceilings.

Nocky, your artwork number 50...I uploaded to Photobox to see if I could get a canvas wall art done, but sadly it said the pic was poor quality for that.

Number 39 is similar Lynnrose and although the resolution is the same, the colours might make it more viable.
Another trick that can work, is resize and print the original and then scan it at very high resolution. Save the result as a PNG.

That's a pity LR , I don't know much about printing pics on canvas, but perhaps Kens idea might work. I resized Angels original pic to 1024x768 and 300DPI, but I think the problem is using filters on a jpeg degrades the quality quite a lot.
