Another very good week with lots of clever and interesting views of the little boat. Well done everybody, and for all your good work. This week I've picked Angels photo of a grapevine. A bit different from our normal type of subject, but I'm sure you will surprise me as usual with your skill and imagination. I've used an Impasto effect to start off, now let's see what you all can come up with.

I like the first one Elvis, a nice texture, but I'm not sure about the second one, a bit too strong for me I think. You're doing good though, keep at it. That is lovely Angel. I like it a lot. Nice colours and the butterflies look great. Smashing graphic.

Another good one Angel, the grapes are a nice colour. and I like the owl. Well done. Two fine effects there Elvis, nicely distorted lens, and the filmstrip looks really good. I added a bit of decoration with the Freebie Lightbrush, then used a horizontal mirror effect for this one.

Clever stuff KC, I think that "Jack and the Grapevine" is very professional looking, it could be an illustration in a kids storybook. Like the bunches of grapefruit. ;D All very good work.

Thanks Nocky. My first attempt at the bunches of grapefruit was bloody terrible. After I made the stand alone PNG, I simply appied it over the original and it looks much better now.
Jack and the Grapevine, was the first thing that came into my head when I looked at the original. There is no shortage of kids illustrations on the net. I had to increase the resolution a bit, as the illustrations are hand painted in water colour. I thought that particular picture, fitted very well. I will probably get some artist jump all over me one of these days. I wouldn't have Kens Secondhand Tag Company, if I did everything myself.

That's another cracker KC, fantastic background, love the castle, and the field of daffodills is lovely. Great stuff. Nice abstract effect there Elvis. Been playing about with gradients here.

Doesn't look too bad KC, but agree definitely much better as two pics. Here's an attempt at a water reflection.
