I never knew you could have so much fun with a banana. ;D Another very good project with lots of clever and interesting pics. Thanks to all. We can try this again if anyone has a suitable subject in mind, but this week we're back to normal with a pic of a Tramcar in Seaton. I've done a kind of poster type thingy to get us started, looking forwrd to seeing what you all come up with.

This bad weather we have been getting, I thought I had better put a roof on. Luckily I was able to get one from the Glasgow Tram Company, it looks quite steamlined and modern now.

Thanks Nocky, I like that one to. You can see that in 80 years the design has hardly changed. Put another coach on, paint it green and nobody would notice.

1. Needed a copy of the tram only. I used the lassoo tool, then copy, then cut.
2. Needed a copy of the picture without the tram, this was done by filling in the space where the tram had been after had used the cut in para 1 above. To fill in the space of the missing tram, I used the clone paint brush adjusting the brush size as necessary during the working of the brush. When the space has been filled with imagined background, save pic of background.
3. Now open the picture of the background, and paste the tram on to it in original position, then save as jpeg file frame one.
4. Now open the picture of the background, and paste the tram on to it, but now adjust it by dragging the tram to the left slightly, and then using the transform tool adjust the size to reach the overhead cables, and the wheels to the track. Save the frame as frame two.
5. Repeat para 4. until you have saved around five frames.
6. Now switch to animator and post each individual image into it using the picture of the background first, set the first frame to 3secs, and the last frame to 3secs, leaving the others at default. Try preview, and save as gif file.

I don't normally have time to join in on this. But because I'm not working until tomorrow, and this bus was so inviting I thought I'd add this to the thread this week.

I did have a go after all lol, because I found something fairly suitable quite quick. It's not perfect, but about the best I can do in a short time.
