Far too big a file, just waiting for my chicken and chips to cook. Didn't want to bring the autumn thread to a standstill with a 0.5mb file

I can't imagine why anyone would be interested in this and I'm sure there is software available to simplify matters, but it's amazing how quickly you can select, copy, paste and save loads of images and at least you can say it's all your own work even if it is pretty crude and it's fun!! I used windows Paint- pretty basic. Draw image A1 in Paint window 1 Save as A1 Select and copy leaf, paste in new position, delete first leaf. Save as A2 Repeat above step 11 times (Good Grief!) Open New Paint window 2 Draw Blind B1, copy and return to Paint window 1 and paste Save as Leaf 1 Return to Paint window 2 Select and delete sections of blind from B1 Save as B2 Copy and return to paint window 1 Paste B2 over A1 and Save as Leaf 2 Return to Paint Window 2 Select and delete some more of the blind slats Save as B3 Copy and return to Paint 1 Paste B3 over A1 and Save as Leaf 3 Then paste B3 overA2 to A12 saving each as Leaf 3 to Leaf 14 Open Gif animator add images Leaf1 to Leaf 14 Set delay for each frame optimize and save.

Thanks Phoney Alot of people like doing tutorials as I did when I first got Photoimpact. It is a good way to learn about all the tools in a graphic programme. Some people, like yourself, like to just explore everything themselves and come up with something unique, whilst others like me, like to learn from the 'Master' then perhaps find a way to come up with something themselves.

I use tuts when I need to learn something I can't figure out for myself; that is how I learned to do my watermark copyright.
