Channel 4 is first UK broadcaster to offer back catalogue online for free 'Channel 4 will make more than 10,000 shows from its archive available free online next month. If copied by other broadcasters, the move could kill off the lucrative box set market, where entire TV series are sold on DVD The expansion of the 4oD --Channel 4 On Demand - service means that viewers will be able to watch classic programmes such as Father Ted and Shameless months or years after they were first aired.' Well thanks, Lynne; just picked this one up - just a bit late! Wharrevver, had a look around the BBC news site at various topics and found that the 'forum input' on those few items that had it didn't work - either that or 'further comments are not being considered' or some such nonsense. That's prob'ly down to aunty Beeb herself, but it does make you wonder if the BBC is deliberately stifling open comments on matters of the day - lke Scottish independence, climate change, the state of the NHS, smoking etc. Have you any ideas or comments on this issue?
