I have chipped in to a few posts over the last couple of weeks but they seem to be disappearing into thin air as they don't appear on the boards. Is it just me? Or do other posts go AWOL on a regular basis.
Maybe I'm just being aggressively moderated.....

And so does the last one.......I'm going to stop this now or I could be at it all day...replying to myself that is.
But the question still stands.

Never had a problem here, so I suspect the fault lies at your end with some over zealous security software - what are you using?

Hi MM....all fine for me. Might be worth checking your posts in your Profile. Scroll down to Recent Activity Default is set at 10, but you can change it, so you can then view your messages and see if maybe they did post, but you just can't find them on the board because you can't remember which threads you were in

Happens to me all the time. I will preview and wander off to talk to a plant or some other inanimate object, come back and think I have posted it. There should be big flashing lights that say, THIS IS ONLY A PREVIEW DIMWIT."

I have to say it happens to me occasionally too.

Several times I have posted a message, had second thoughts and deleted it. I never delete a post that has had an answer though, only those where I think I've asked a dumb question, waffled on too much and no-one has yet commented on it. Some forums have a time limit on how long you have to delete or edit a post, say 15 minutes, and then it stays.

We don't have a time limit on here....Phoney, don't give up on posts that don't get an answer. I am sure that they will eventually. Most of the time, members are answered quickly, but sometimes they need a bit more thought.

You d**n Smart a*%@s..........yep I found the 'missing' posts, right there where I posted them (but forgot I had)...bugger!
But instead of admitting premature senility I will go with the Mikkh suggestion and blame over zealous security software for the errant post problem.........'walks away mumbling under his breath'.

PS.....yeah, I'll check my profile next time Lynnerose......Ta.
