Just couldn't let this place close without a few final words. MSN Groups. The service we loved to hate. We all learned a lot as members of MSN Groups and even more as members of CIT, so I offer my heartfelt thanks to Microsoft for providing the facilities and the Managers and members of CIT for everything else. I've made lots of friends while a part of MSN Groups. Some I've met in person, others "virtual", but they all have a special place in my heart.
Hope to see you all in our new virtual world.

I met a lot of nice people on MSN and most of them are still with us in different locations. There is a life after MSN if you know where to look.

Yes - end of an Era. Shame in many ways. Despite the foibles of MSN their Groups were a source of many friendships and in some cases real meets too. It has been so easy to criticise and yet look at their main alternative - "Multuiply" - yuck!!
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the Management team at CIT for all their help over the past 8 years not of course forgetting the stalwart techies such as KC - Mikkh - JB - MM - and so may others.
Lynnrose - a special thank-you to you for bringing us Proboards, this is a wonderful site, long may it continue.

I just popped over to your countdown thread I had to refresh a good few times so that has not changed  At least here you don't have that problem.  Still if it was not for MSN I would not have found this wonderful group so a big thankyou to them for that. |
