You get emailed when there is a new survey. They don't come very often. You can also go to the yougov site to check whether there is a survey or prize draw waiting or you.

Best to check in from time to time, just in case. Most surveys have limited time, usually two days.

This is my amount so far, so am pretty pleased.
Referrals: £3.75
Activity: £10.50
Also I do valued opinions surveys, and a few weeks ago did a music survey, at the end they asked if I would take part in a more indepth survey sending me a cd to listen to and tell them if I liked that particular track, rating it from 1 - 100. I got the cd last week, and did the survey last night. Took 4 hours, but was enjoyable anyways. and earned myself a total of £45! Bring on more surveys like this!! Mind, although it shows my awards in money, they send to me in vouchers.

Dear Panel Member,
We would like to inform you of a number of changes to be introduced in the next week that are designed to make it easier to complete surveys in the future. If you have any questions in the meantime please contact our support desk at supportuk@yougov.com SURVEY INVITES There will be a slight difference in most of the survey invitations sent as they will now be in html (the same format as this email). They will inform you that there is a survey available for completion with a link that takes you directly to an introduction page to the survey. As the link is unique to your email address, you will no longer need to provide your login details before completing the survey. YOUR YOUGOV ACCOUNT Your login details will change to a simpler format with the email address survey invitations are sent to now being used as your username. It is advisable to login to your account periodically to check your accumulated credit as you will no longer be automatically directed to your account upon completion of a survey. ACCOUNT CREDIT Your YouGov account will be transferred from £'s to points. Whereas previously you would have been credited with 50p your account will now be credited with 50 points. The payout level is remaining the same, your earnings can be redeemed at 5000 points (the points equivalent of £50) and this will still be paid out in cheque form.
You will not lose credit as a result of this change; it is simply so we can unify all of the YouGov panels around the world under a single system. REDEEMING YOUR POINTS FOR A CHEQUE To redeem your points it will be necessary to login to your account and request to be sent a cheque and confirm your mailing address. You will be notified when you have accumulated 5000 points by the appearance of a red box in your account. Clicking on this will allow you to redeem your points and request your cheque.
More details about these upcoming changes will be made available on our website closer to the date of the changes being brought in.

Yes, it has changed, but I still got in with usual name and password. Looks like they have changed the amount to points. I have 2675 which is £26.75 and need 5000 points to get £50 www.yougov.co.uk/
