Chrome Problem

I have this pop-up box that appears on my screen
"Restore pages"
Chrome didn't shut down properly. ( When it clearly did )
Underneath are two tabs ... one reads "Restore" and the other reads "Open Startup Pages"
Neither of the tabs resolves the problem .......Any ideas on how to shift this?
Edit: Also when I click to open Google, two Google tabs come up with strange letters and numbers following the "Com"

Unistall Chrome, check its gone from Program Files and delete it if its still there. Run C Cleaner, reboot and run again. Reinstall Chrome. I do this to anything that stops working, always seems to work, unless the program itself has gone tits up.

Cheers ...... Done that and all seems to be fine now.
I've also got rid of the second Google tab btw, but still get these strange letters and numbers after Google.com/ in the address bar
