Hi, I think I have been infected by some nasty virus, which keeps sending a popup warning that refuses to go away unless I reboot. The url for this warning is 20jana.oss-ap-sountheast-2.aliyuncs.com It claims that a syspicious activity had been detected at my ISP error code: 093-111-195 and I am asked to telephone Microsoft technician on 0-800-090-3862 to resolve the issue. I have take a picture of the popup and attach it here, but I am not sure if it will be sharp enough to read. My suspicion is that it is connected with Google and Google Chrome and probably has something to do with my old website. I have run AdvCleaner, PCCleaner and Defender and none have found any "threats"! It does not look genuine to me, but I am no expert, so any assistance will be most welcome. May thanks, Alex

Don't worry I get these all the time all you have to do is to Ctrl Alt Del go to task manager and click on the web link and stop it when you reopen the browser it will tell ask you if you want to reopen the previous session, just say no.
They are a pain in the backside but there is no danger to your PC, just don't call the number !!
it is an annoyance and that is all your PC does not have a virus, this is a scam all aimed at getting you to call the number and one of two things will happen, either your phone bill will sky-rocket or the "Microsoft" expert will try to persuade you to install remote access where they will steal any Passwords or Bank details on your PC
Personally I don't keep any details like that on my PC

Everybody loves to hate Google, but it's definitely not them and Merchant if you get these all the time, something is seriously wrong and you need a good clean up on your PC/laptop Alex I assume you mean Adwcleaner and Ccleaner? The first is probably a typo but PC cleaner is known malware, so I hope you did mean ccleaner For stubborn removal jobs you should use combofix too www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/Before running adwcleaner or combofix, you should run Rkill first to make sure any infections aren't lurking in memory already www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/

I might be way off, but I dont think so. Instead of sticking a CD/DVD in and installing a system, people seem to be using 3rd party software to install an OS. Big mistake in my book. Whats wrong with the old fashioned way? Keep it simple and odd software out of it. I have no idea if this has any bearing on your problems, but it is something I've picked up on and voiced my observation.
