Hi guys,
My website had been infected by a virus (CSVERt.IN)from India and the ISP locked me out of it. I was getting messages "Forbidden - you don't have permission to access on this server - error 403). I have since deleted all the data on that website and uploaded completely new stuff, but I still cannot access the website and I am getting the same message. I thought that my system was using an old cookie which the ISP identified as the infected website, so I asked a friend to try it, but he was also locked out, yet his system could not have had any cookies. Not sure what to try next, so any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.
Happy New Year,
Alex

Managed to recover by installing FileZilla and using it to change the permissions on htdocs to 0755 and other files to 0644(octal). I don't know why the permissions were changed in the first place, but all is well that ends well. Best, Alex
