I noticed huge usage of my allowance in the past 4 weeks. I am allowed 10GB per month and I usually use less than half that. But in the past 4 weeks I used approximately double my normal. So, I used only Puppy for 2 days and the average usage was about 40 - 60 MB per day, whilst the usage in Win10 was often exceeding 200MB per day. I am fairly certain that Win10 is updating automatically and I would like to turn that off and update "manually" after midnight when my usage is not capped. For instance, I know that I installed a fresh copy of Win10 yesterday and today my usage was nearly a full GB and without any warning. I have set the updates not to be delivered over "metered connection" but that has had no effect.
If there is a way to turn these updates off, I'd be very grateful for the advice.
