opening outlook in firefox

Could any one help with my problem using safari and outlook I have no trouble but when I try to open outlook in firefox using the same login details as those used when opening outlook in safari I get a message telling me either my p/w or my email address is wrong?.

You closed Safari before attempting this I take it?
You could have also typed the password incorrectly twice when first setting it up in Safari - rare, but it happens

Resetting the password would solve that

Worse case scenario, just keep using Safari for Outlook
