apple "quick time" do i need it,can i delete it safely?(i think as we have a "shared" p.c junior frimmers uses itunes and it may be bundled......but my "pet hate" adobe acrobat....it drives me to distraction..what is it for? do i need it? can i delete the nightmare??(rant over:)

I would get rid of Quick Time and install K-Lite codec pack from www.filehippo.com, which will give you an alternative and a lot of other useful codecs. Get rid of Adobe and download Foxit PDF Reader, you really need a PDF reader. Foxit works well and is a fraction of the size of Adobe. Just Google yourself a download of it. KC

Never mind Jojo, you gave him the link to the codec and I only gave him the link to the website. He might even find Foxit at Filehippo, I haven't checked.
