BBC iPlayer dowloads

I decided to try and install the BBC iPlayer download program which seemed to have been a success, but the file thus generated was a disaster, unknown and would not open??


Needless to say I would appreciate some help please.

Had a bit of trouble finding it. The BBC doesn't exactly make it easy to find anything.

Have you tried deleting the file and downloading it again?

Also, do you have all the correct drivers?

And I hate to ask, but have you removed that parental control nonsense?

The 321 icon of classic media player usually comes with k-lite video codecs, so there shouldn't be any problems on that front

You could try VLC though, just to make sure - or get the latest version of k-lite

Thanks Mikkh, I have deleted everything regarding BBC iPlayer, I will try it again later on.

Jojo - the Parental Control thing did in fact turn out to be the problem with You Tube and iPlayer access, but as I said previously, it was/is in Beta. Everything on that score is now OK.
