I am using VISTA (ok alright I know !) and I'm trying to stop msn messenger from starting up everytime I switch on my PC. Can someone please tell me how to do this particularly as I can't find the programme listed anywhere.

Tools tab, Options, General. Remove tick from Automatically run windows live messenger when PC starts (you can also get there by clicking on your name) If that doesn't work, you will have to do it via msconfig.

I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8 on Windows 7 and I had to use msconfig to stop it starting. Doing it via the Options doesn't seem to work too good.
