XP, SP2 &SP1?

I have just installed XP on my hardrive and i tried to install sp2 but it says i need to install SP1 ? first any ideas as i have not ever had to install SP1 i just installed SP2 ?

It must be a very old copy of XP, every one I've had in the last few years has either had SP1 or 2 already integrated into it

Yes it's old it's from when XP first came out but it has never ask for SP1 before when puting on SP2

Thanks for SP1 much appreciated i am just down loading now no i don't need SP2 or SP3 already got them thanks.

I have never needed SP1 before so i don't no why i need it now, i just put XP pro on and the SP2 and 3 so it's strange.

Why dont you download nLite from nlite.en.softonic.com/download, slipstream SP1,2 and 3 in and burn a new installation disk. nLite makes slipstreaming easy, great little program.

For some reason that link dont take you to the download. Just put nLite into the search at the top of the Softonic page and it will take you to the download.
