Anyone seen the news of the release of the Raspberry Pi computer? www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17190918Once it can get past the games crowd, (Of which I am one, but this isn't a games machine), it could prove a very popular and constructive tool for a number of things. The biggest problem I can see is the advisability of support, especially, online. My own experience and I'm sure others, is that with any high tech, minority interest, support tends to be patronising, elitist and plain rude. Unnecessary and irrelevant in what will hopefully be, an intellectual pursuit. Be interesting to see how it works out. Will it be like CIT, or like Linux?

The ZX81 bought up to date it would seem
There's only one problem with that - the ZX81 was for geeky nerds with no real practical use other than proving it could be done in a relatively new area of science. Now it's old hat and unlikely to capture the imagination like the ZX81 did
It comes with Linux though this time around, so that's a good start
