Art Project - Old Stable

Well, with Ken gone and Angel on holiday, it was only Elvis and I for most of last week. Thanks for your input mate, appreciate your support.

I've been thinking it might be time to give this thread a holiday, take a break for a while. I'll give it one more week and who knows, maybe one or two of the hundreds of viewers we get each week might decide to join in.

This is a pic of an old stable in the grounds of Cotehele House at Calstock in Cornwall. I've given it a colour boost to start with, let's see how many contributors we get. It is only a bit fun folks.

Nice pencil sketch LR , and that second one looks like an old brass plaque, smashing effect. Good stuff.

I know you use both Linux and W7 Elvis, which one do you use to upload pics, and have you tried using the other one?. Can't really think of anything else that might help.

It is happening on both i think it is the server as my speed is OK now it dose not matter it's just annoying i am getting ready for a format at the weekend W7 and Linux mint 10 and i will put W7 and Linux mint 11 on see if it work better then as W7 was a very slow set up when i formated a few months ago nearly an hour Linux is working fine till i go on the internet

Farmyard

In the long abandoned shed, a pony cart
Once gaily painted to carry family to church,
Laughing children on holidays to picnic,
Mother shopping in the village.
Now with shafts dropped to ground
Sad lonely, no longer wanted,
Abandoned for more modern, transport.
A wandering bird, a thingyerel of multi coloured hue
Follows his beak, a trail of food, insects, seed
And finds a shelter from inclement weather.
