After having my kitchen done recently, I was pleased with the results, but it highlighted how shabby my lounge/front room has become.
So I decided to paint that as well after a friend offered to help me do it and supply the paint as well. Can't turn an offer like that down so we went into his treasure trove (also called a cellar full of junk) and hunted for some suitable paint
It's a fairly big room, so we needed quite a lot and the only large quantities he had was a pale mint green. We can do the ceiling in that too he enthused. Hmm, I'm not sure about that I said but we'll have a go, I can always go over it in a more traditional white if I don't like it.
Only took about three hours to do two coats, so now I have two green walls and a green ceiling to match
It actually looks OK and gave me the incentive to finally wash the curtains and nets that have needed doing for years

Well done Mikkh! I now have a horrible vision of how messy your house must have been, but at least you are sorting it out now, lol.

I think you have a touch of Spring Fever. We all get it at this time of year. I spent all afternoon yesterday in the loft! I had bought ten plastic boxes from Wilkinsons and went though loads of cardboard ones and swapped over, not before deciding what I really wanted to keep. I have ended up with six black bags of bedding and clothes for the charity collection on Monday and have about four boxes of books (Dean R Koontz, Stephen King, Agatha Christie etc) that I will be giving to the charity shop. I still haven't finished, but will wait for another day when the mood strikes me.
