Isn't that just what 'TinyURL' have been doing for years? And why do I get a different link than you? goo.gl/l8Xe is what I got when I tried it With TinyURL you are also given the chance to provide a preview link, for those who don't like blindly clicking links and want to know first This site can be either tinyurl.com/n3jur7or the full link can be previewed first, before deciding to go there, at... preview.tinyurl.com/n3jur7

Yes, they have been doing it for years. I don't know why the link from Google is different every time. Just thought it worth a mention Google offers the option to see how many people have clicked on the link, plus browser/windows/country
