New Feature: Ad Size Options, My Latest Topics
Proboards have released another new feature....you can't really miss it.
Right at the top of the page - advert on the left and on the right, a list of 'your own' 5-7 latest posts that you have participated in.
Opinions please.
I am not sure myself...seems a bit in your face...I would prefer the latest posts list to be on the side bar.
I actually don't see the adverts on the left in Firefox for some reason.
Please vote...but come back to the thread and post if you have changed your mind.

I've voted 50/50. Because I wont use it, but I suppose some might. I don't really see the point myself, particularly now since they put the "New Topics" link at the top, it's easy to see if a thread you've written or joined has any replies.
I don't see adverts either Lynnrose, because I also use Firefox and have Adblock plus as an add-on too.

'New Topics' is sufficient, I must admit I use that feature a lot.

I voted 50/50, it is a bit"in your face" as you said, but it should remind me to log-in, which I frequently forget to do.  I'm using the largest font size in IE8 which enlarges the page to fit the screen, and I don't see any Ads either, just my recent topics in the centre of the page. |

I voted to get back to you in 7 days, I didn't even notice it when I logged. I've got tunnel vision, I know what I'm looking for and don't notice anything else. I did notice the log on at the top of the page, promptly put the wrong password in and had to do it again in the normal place.
We haven't got it on NHI

Re my last comment, this was a first impression, and it did indeed remind me to login. However after seeing it fill the screen every time I click to change a page or use the "reply" button, it has become a trifle annoying. I wouldn't be too unhappy if it was removed.  |

The more information I get Pete, the more I ignore. Its like a manual; you never read one until your so screwed up, you have to. If you read one first and get screwed up, you have got nothing to fall back on.
