Testing the Insert image button. You just need the URL from the pic you want to post (upload your images to Tinypic or Photobucket) and paste it inbetween the tags shown below under Code:
[img]URL OF YOUR IMAGE GOES HERE[/img]
....or click on the icon above your message window that has a picture on it and paste the url to your picture inbetween these tags...

You can also use our Image Uploader

Hi, I would have said earlier but ran out of time. First I clicked on marquee (<-M), deleted the "TEXT" bit and put the mouse cursor in between the two "move" tags. I then clicked on the image button so that the "image" tags are between the "move" tages. I pasted the link to my image between the two "image tags" so it looked like this- The URL for the image has got to either end in "JPG" or "GIF" for it to work.

Got it...it wasn't actually the moving bit I wanted, but when you said it had to end with .gif etc.I realized that the pics I was trying to insert are from CIT albums and end with numbers, so I removed those. Thanks

, I guessed you might be linking from the CIT albums so I thought I'd mention it. With all the marqueeing going on I got confused about what you were trying to do lol.

it is generally easier to insert images into forums from non MSN albums, but if you are using them, as Lynnrose has discovered, if you delete all the stuff after .gif or .jpg in the image url, they do work. dont know if Yahoo's storage facilities are easier to use as havent really investigated them thoroughly, although i do have a briefcase and photo album. you still get 30mb with Yahoo I believe, so may be worth looking at if you need free online storage?

just checked out Yahoo you get 30mb for photos (jpegs only) and 30mb for a briefcase which can contain all files including gifs. you still have to remove the numbers after the .gif and ,jpeg though. testing now cant seem to make it work from my Yahoo briefcase. Maybe they dont allow hotlinking? ah well.it was worth a try

Hi Lynnrose - thanks for allowing me to join this illustrious gathering ;D
As you know I have started a similar forum and I have two questions I would like you to help me with please.
1. If I set up a games page - how do I add the games themselves?
2. I am thinking of adding a members picture gallery and need to know how I add pictures. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Buzzy.

Hi Buzzy, You need to copy the code for the game into the Header or Footer of the page. For example, the Flasman game code is pasted into the footer of the board created for that game, so create a new board first via Admin, then click on Headers and Footers in the Admin console and choose the games board that you have just created, paste in the code to the footer and save changes. If you use a javascript game then you may need to paste in some code in the header and the rest of the code in the footer.

As for a picture gallery, then the same sort of thing would apply. You could store your pics at somewhere like Imageshack and just put in links to them, or perhaps look for a script that you can just put in the URL's of each pic, then copy and paste in the code to the Header/Footer
