I took this picture from my bedroom window this evening. It didn't come out as good as it looked...

The first really warm and sunny day for ages here in Plymouth. In town earlier to do some shopping and could hardly move, it was so crowded. Glad to get home and get my feet up. ;D

Cool and overcast here, dont know what tomorrow will bring. Somewhere between sunshine and snow I would think. There's no way you can trust the forecasters.

It's the Lord Mayors show today and fireworks tonight but it's been coming down cats and dogs for the last 12 hours. www.lordmayorsshow.org/And it's the City of London Mayor not Boris.

We are more humane up here and only use water Phoney. Cats and dogs might be more interesting, but waters not as lumpy and don't block up the drains.

As if it doesn't get cold enough in Slab Square Lynnrose, they have to stick that rink there. They should stick it there in summer, instead of that silly beach they pay a million dollars to import. The money they pay for a bit of sand, it must come all the way from the Sahara on the backs of camels.

Oooh Lynnrose, you were almost in touching distance then. I stayed in most of the day fixing computers, otherwise I might have bumped into you.
I've been in Leicester today, but I passed the square and the very expensive German market encamped there again, on my way back from the train station. Been a lovely day today and I quite enjoyed my trip to rural Birstall

The Bier Keller sells short measures of very expensive and very cloudy beer. If an English pub tried it, the Weights and Measures would come down on them like a ton of bricks. Fortunately it's so cold beside the skating rink, I dont think they sell very much

Silly me, I didn't even twig that I was in the same town that you two gentlemen live in, so near, but yet so far! I actually liked those little wooden cabin/shed things selling food etc. Reminded me of Germany (Hanover/Celle) and now I know why as I didn't realize that it was a German market.

I wasn't very far away yesterday afternoon, but I was at the back of the Council House and didn't go as far as the German sheds.

We had some rain during the night, but the wind has gone by the look of things. It looks like we are going to get more rain and it will probably start as soon as I walk out of the house. I have got to go into the city centre today, so I will probably inspect the German sheds. I'm not expecting much change from the last few years, but you never know I might get a surprise.

They said there might be scatterings of snow all down the country. Last night was supposed to be the coldest night of the year, but the temperature went up as it got dark and its still a lot warmer than they forecast this morning. I just stick my nose out and if it turns blue its cold, if it turns red I'm drunk. Still haven't turned my heating on yet.
