Its been milder this last couple of days, but we keep getting showers. It gets quite bright at times, then another batch of cloud comes over.

It's been close on freezing all bloody day; paths are still slippery from last night so I'm not gonna be walking very far. Hoping to get a lift down the road for some f*gs, so at least that's halved the risk of slipping over on my backside!

We had a a nice bright day here today, but my mother said it had been pouring with rain all day in the south. We have had a bit of drizzle since it got dark, but its warmed things up a bit.

Same here, Ken; bloody knee woke me up this morning so I was up before dawn - just getting grey round the edges. Started off lovely, bright sunlight and rising to 7C by 0900; however just after lunch I looked out and the road outside was wet again - and so was the washing I'd put out.
By 1600 it was getting very cool - not freezing, but with all the damp about it felt cold "right through"; around 1800 we had a couple of sharp showers, then the mist dropped, reducing VFR to around 50 yards. It's fairly clear now, (Midnight) but still very damp and chilly.

This was midday yesterday and it was all dropping off the trees at 14.00 hours. Its like a bloody ice rink out there today. I have got to go to the doctors in the next couple of days, I will probably badly need a doctor by the time I fall down the hill.

The daylight pictures it was snowing with very fine flakes and with the grey skys, the photos can out better than I expected Lynnrose. I set the camera to automatic snowscape and it seemed to have worked quite well.

That's a great 'setting' the Snowscape one. I have various settings on mine, but never use them, maybe I should try some out, but I hardly use my digital cam nowadays (above pic is with iPod Touch)
