news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_utd/8137680.stmAre they kidding or what? A goalkeeper faces a ban for failing a drugs test, where the banned substance was probably ingested by taking a cold remedy! .... and how exactly do you 'enhance' a goalkeepers performance? Make his hands ten times bigger? Sensationalist journalism at it's worst

Well isn't life a bugger? Prone to painful sinus congestion, I use ephedrine based medication for the sheer relief of it. I knew I'd be banned from competing in the Olympics for doing so, but at 51 the contest of pain relief vs gold medal never really gets considered. Now I find I'm not allowed to play soccer either? (I never could play, to tell the truth.) These rulemakers are turning me into a couch-potato. Let's have a slurp of Covonia cough medicine ~ 7% by volume of alcohol

I have been banned from heavy weight boxing. They say its because of the medication I'm on, but I think I'm being victimised because of my weight problem.
