8 from 9 for me. According to them, I got the penguin question wrong. I disagree that the penguin only lives in the Southern Hemisphere. When I was a lad, I used to go to Edinburgh Zoological Gardens to see two things. The penguins on their lunchtime walk was one of them. Edinburgh's Latitude is approximately 55°57'North. Which makes me right!

6/9. I never was all that successful with "birds". I don't know much about our feathered friends either.

The second thing, Lynnrose? Back in the early 1970's The Goodies released the single "Funky Gibbon." The promotional video showed a gibbon doing backflips. So, as a curious teenagerI hopped onto a train in Newcastle and went to Edinburgh Zoo to watch them do it in real life. Just me, a cheese sandwich, and a frozen orange juice ~ which I finished on the train. Six hours I stood there, and for all six hours they refused to do a single backflip. D amn

And the visit to see the penguins ~ I can't find reference to it, but I heard that the penguins' "walkabout" came about one day when a keeper inadvertently left the enclosure gate open. The penguins got out and followed a group of folk down the hill, out of the zoo, and lined up at the bus-stop outside the gates.
Tell THAT to a curious 9 year old lad, and what do you expect? I got on the train, and went to have a look!
Edinburgh Zoological Gardens, by the way, ~ said to be the world's authority on penguins.

'75 is spot-on, Lynnrose. I went one Saturday during my A-Levels.
Amazing how things can come full circle, isn't it? The guy on the left in the video you posted? I bet HE can vouch that penguins live in Edinburgh, do you reckon?

I only scored 6, but I learn something out of it. I thought that Puffins were related to the Penguin; but the only similarity, they used to be called, Little Brothers. Apart from their monastic robes, they are not related in any way to the Penguin and are members of the Auk family.
