Anyone know how to bazooka it? Or know why it keeps haunting me?
I learned not to like Quicktime back at New Year's, 2006. It wants to have full control of the PC, and give me few rights. Noy only have I uninstalled it etc, but I've renewed my machine since. I've never installed it again!
But these past 4 or 5 months it shows up in the system tray, smirking at me. Not every time I boot, but irritatingly intermittently I've uninstalled it ~ it comes back. I've deleted it from the start menu, it comes back. I've disabled it in the start menu, and yet it still comes back.
How the Sam Hill can I persuade it to get on its horse and gallop?

Uninstall Quicktime and install K-Lite mega codec pack. This contains Quicktime alternative, which will allow you to watch Quicktime without all the hassle.

Think I'll settle for the easy option and blow an image onto the machine.
