Sometimes - like just now - the windows phishing filter blocks all the 'View in New Window' icons hosted by imageshack. I can see the filter is scanning all the icons and then displays as below. It only does it for that particular operation . Wonder why? I can still click on the link just doesn't display the intended icons. Could it be that imageshack is overloaded?

Cheers Buzzy, but surely only Lynnrose has control over which site is used to host and display the images. I never use imageshack

I tried a few times to post a pic with Image Shack last night, even tried changing the size and format, but just kept getting an error message. It's been doing this a lot recently.
I then tried PhotoBucket and it worked first time.

So that begs the question why is CIT using imageshack to host the new window link icons that are intermittent,

Phoney - one can use whatever online storage site one chooses. As Ken says Photobucket is good, but if you simply need to post an image without actually storing it online then "wimghost" or Tinypic are superb. Tinypic can of course store online for anything you wish to keep as well as Photobucket. I use both PB and TP in case either goes down.

I can only assume I'm not explaining myself very well for which I apologise. I have no trouble posting an image. All I'm saying is that Lynnrose uses imageshack to host the ICON she selected for the 'View in New Window' link. However, sometimes the selected item is not displayed, and a red X with text 'View in New Window' is displayed by default. Later on today the intended ICON will appear, and I didn't know if it was the phishing filter blocking, or imageshack having a problem.

Phoney, I think it is me that should apologise for not understanding your problem correctly, some of the graphics you post are really quite stunning
I think the problem may be that sometime ago Lynnrose identified some problems with Imageshack and unless I am mistaken she has stopped using it. Obviously she will advise you in the fullness of time, but my guess is that she has moved her hosting elsewhere and the intermittent problem you are experiencing is down to the current instability of Imageshack and the original ICON may still be there. I had a similar problem and moved everything from Imageshack to Tinypic.

Hey guys, That icon is already incorporated into the script that I use for the code for 'opening in a new window.' In other words, I don't store it, but the kind person who the code belongs to, must store it at Imageshack. I shall look into it and see about changing the image.

OK folks...I have replaced the New Window imageshack graphic with a temporary one. It's a star from MSN smilies. Any suggestions for something else? It must be that size or thereabouts. Hope you're all happy!

Well that was easily resolved. It was an imageshack issue and not the phishing tool.
