I often have to refresh the page when I first come into CIT, because it freezes up; is it a fault in my computer, or the server?

All I can tell you is that I don't have that problem. The pages load great for me (much faster than MSN)

I've never had to do that, so I guess it's your PC - or the software (or lack of it) that's on it
What spec is your PC? (right click 'My Computer' and pick properties to see CPU and RAM installed))
I presume you already have the latest Flash and Java, or you would have problems everywhere
The other possibility is some kind of infection

I have never had any trouble with any of the Proboard sites, unlike Multiply. If you have Java 6 update 13 and Flash 10, it should be fine. Make sure the old versions of Java are uninstalled in Add & Remove Programs. I agree with Mikk and think its possibly an infection. Also type msconfig into Run and disable anything that doesn't need to run on Startup. Your computer could be overwhelmed by too many things running in the background. If your not sure post a list of what is running and we can tell you what to stop. There shouldn't be much, except for your firewall and anti-virus. Possibly a anti-malware in Startup. Definately not Office Engine, Java Updater and any other Updaters.

It is alright today, so must just have been a glitch. How do I copy the list?
