Jojo,
I remember you saying about your A4Tech keyboard dying after about a year. Well mine did yesterday and didn't go after changing the batteries. I was pushing the connect button on the keyboard without success. Then I pushed the button on the dongle first and then the button on the keyboard. I did that about 7 or 8 times, then the light started flashing and everything worked again. I thought I would tell you, as your keyboard might not be as dead as you think. It could be something to do with it having 16 channels. They say you dont have to syncronise the mouse, but it makes no mention of the keyboard.
Good luck

Thanks Ken.
I got rid of the A4Tech some time ago now, but good advice for anyone who may have one.
Currently using an Advent wireless and a wired mouse.
But the principal is worth remembering.
Thanks again

Your welcome Jojo, I thought you might have still had it. I have a bad habit of keeping defunct electronics and tinkering with them. Mostly I'm only wasting my time, but sometimes I surprise myself.

Me too. I have a growing pile of junk which might come in useful some day.
Including several 8 bit computers! Sadly, I got rid of the centronics printer so the files remain on them.

I am in the process of building a quad core for my mates boy, out of the junk I have left from the evolution of this monster I'm using now. Its hasn't cost me a penny up to now, except I have run out of seating compound for the heat sink. I have to admit that the evolution of The Beast has run to over 2000 grand. Having got 2 quads out of it, its not that bad a price. Intel i7's cant touch this one, I dont care what the Intel fans say.
