Most of the 'spying' is self inflicted if you used express settings in the install, but it can be undone via Windows settings easily enough Windows 10 has been officially out for less than a week, but this program is already on V 1.3! Dedication to duty? Hasty bug fixes? not sure what to make of that myself.
The default setup (using custom settings on the install) is not really causing me problems, so I'll wait a while before trying to tweak it

Agreed.
Though I don't have W10 myself, I did notice the express settings and opted for manual. I confess, the first time I installed it, I didn't know what most of the settings mean, though some seemed rather obvious, I was tempted to think, perhaps, a little too obvious. Mention of Advertisers for example. I doubt anyone would choose to let advertisers access to your personal information and assumed I simply didn't understand it.
This does perhaps indicate just how low M$ have sunk.
Anyway, as long as the programs are supported by MajorGeeks, I personally see them as being what they, (he) says. That isn't a recommendation to use them and I know MajorGeeks makes that point. But he does test everything before he posts it.

Some new things you didn't know you didn't know about Windows 10 and will wonder why you need to now!
