After a pretty slow start last week things picked up later on, and quite a few very good pics were posted. Thanks and well done everyone. This week I'll be having a look at some Public Domain picture sites to try and widen the choice of topics to use. I'd have preferred to keep using our own photos, but to be honest there isn't enough variety of subjects available to keep folks interested, it was getting very difficult to try and find something new each week. However, as promised here's Angels nice pic of "The Crooked House" in Himley, one of the few pubs I haven't been thrown out of. ;D I've given it a bit of a colour boost to start with, now let's see what you can do with it.

You've straightened the building nicely KC, next job is to do the windows. Looks a bit frosty now.

Couple of nice effects there Ciara, I like that first vignette one, very antique look. Good work. A bit of moonlight now, and yes, I know the reflections wrong, but heeeyyy, I don't care. ;D

That dog looks familiar Elvis, can't remember where it's from though. Nice one. That's a great job you've done on the old pub KC, looks like they'll have to change the name to "The Straightened House". ;D Good work there, and the crowd scene is very well done, can't see the join at all. Two really clever pics. n

I've been playing with that ChasysDraw IES freebie you posted Ciara, and I'm really impressed with it. Haven't figured it all out yet, but this is my first attempt at using it. I think I'll be using it quite a lot in future. Thanks again for the link.

The old place was unsafe and had be demolished. Now a new building has replaced it.

Looks good KC, but how long will those old mine workings support all that extra weight.

It was built by British Aero Space Nocky, its plastic coated aluminum and plaster board. All the metal parts are interchangeable with the new space station. If the tiles fall off the toilet walls, it could burn up during re-entry.

I wouldn't drink there, theres nowhere to put your beer down without spilling it. Its hard enought trying not to spill your beer, when everything looks like that and its not.

That's usually what it looks like AFTER you've had a drink (or 10) there Elvis, nice bit of distortion. (...The Simpsons are good, but my favourite is "Futurama", I'm madly in love with Leela. ;D) This is the previous pic after more tinkering about.

Actually, your beer stays level and you should see stuff rolling uphill.
