An early post today as I'm off out shortly. No-one has posted any suitable pics for ages , so I've had to use another of my own. This was a derelict house in Princetown, that has since been demolished, and the site re-developed. I thought it would make a change from our recent subjects, all sorts of ghostly/ghastly possibilities.

Hi elvis, that house was in the middle of Dartmoor, just a couple of hundred yards from the prison, and that looks like a real heavy Dartmoor mist, a nice effect. ps. good to see you posting again. ;D

Gonna take a bit of doing up, but they have some good gardeners out there on the moors. Now I need to find a good builder.

That would make a nice Halloween card Angel, I like the Penguin witch. Lovely graphic. I've been out on Dartmoor in that sort of mist Elvis, scary when you're not too sure of your exact location, and you've forgotten to bring your compass, that mist looks very real. Good stuff you two. Did this with the dry brush tool in Photoshop.

View through the Prison Gate, .....(a bit of Artistic license here as the "nick" is a couple of hundred yards away, and on the same side of the road.) ;D

They have got some funny buiding regulations on Dartmoor. They said I had to use old materials and I couldn't find anything older than this for the roof. Now to figure out what to do with the bottom floor.

Looking good KC, nice work. Started playing around with the Liquify tool and colour in Photoshop, think I got a bit too enthusiastic.

That's turned into some house Ken, you'll probably have Posh & Becks offering you several million for it. ;D

I was woken up early again this morning (5 am) by very noisy neighbours, a family of Magpies, and a Blackbird who sings beautifully, but far too loudly for that time of day. Anyhoo, while drinking a coffee, I was idly scanning Google Maps, trying to find somewhere to walk that would'nt be too crowded this holiday week-end, and came across this StreetView of how the site of our derelict house now looks. I think I preferred the old house. ;D

I had bene toying with the idea of demolition, but somehow couldn't get the settings I wanted.
