Again, last week threw up some very good and humorous images, mainly concerning odd goings on with animals not normally associated with Dartmoor. This week I think we'll have a go at Angels rather strange motorcycle statue. I've made it into a sort of sketch, I'm sure you lot will think of something better. ;D

Looks like that big bug has eaten the biker KC, and now his ghost is forever doomed to ride on Mel Tor. ;D

I think that Mel Tor is about the best place for that statue Nocky. Norton built things of beauty, I dont know why they commissioned something that looked like that. It looks like a concrete grasshopper and just like the Norton workforce, its holding a Giro.

It doesn't say who actually commissioned the statue.

Just a test to see if this 16MB gif animation (actually it's morphing images) loads......it loaded, but took about 10 mins. Now to see if it works. ;D Well it works, but hardly seems worth the bother.

It was probably commissioned in loving memory of another great British industry that went to the dogs. I expect someone has commissioned a statue of the Titanic as a memorial of British ship building.

Thats a good one Elvis, those pigeons have got talent.
Hope you dont mind I borrowed your bike, it stands out against the sky better than the original and hairy planes wont bump into it.

The council moaned about me moving those houses and they didn't say anything about the statue, so I left it where it was.

For a second there Ken, I thought my eyes were gone, good effect though, once my vision re-adjusted. ;D Liked the previous sketch, nice muted colours. I'm now going through a purple patch.
